Justin Thornton is a Denver based artist. His current body of work deals with our natural world and the historic documentation of it. Cyanotype is a process that was first used as a way to document botanic specimens, most notably be the Botanist Anna Atkins. Justin's interest is based both his background in Photography and his concern for humanity's disinterest in the future of the natural world.
Justin Graduated from the Art Institute of Colorado in 2008 with a BFA in Photography and worked as a commercial photographer for a time. Now he has moved into art making. He is also currently a board member for the Denver Art Society.
